If you're considering buying this pack, you'll appreciate learning why it's uniquely comfortable:

- In addition to an air-flow, trampoline back panel. The Banchee has a lumbar-shelf pad that tucks into the small of your back and prevents the pack from sliding downward. Most packs have straight back panels. But your back is not straight. It curves inward slightly, and the Banchee echoes that curve. The result is an exceptionally comfortable fit and a reliably secure ride.

- Other daypacks and backpacks have thin, minimally-paded waistbelts that do not adjust. The Banchee has thick hip-pads that you can slide forward or backward, then lock into place directly over you hip bones. A luxurious, precision fit is guaranteed.

- The Banchee's plush hip-pads ride on a thermoplastic belt. The pads keep the belt from touching you. But the belt's rigidity prevents the pack from slumping or sagging. As a result, the Banchee rides high and tight, like a Kentucky-Derby jockey. Other packs persistently slide downward, forcing you to frequently shrug them upward and over-tighten the hipbelt. The Banchee eliminates all these common nuisances.

Questions

Question

Hi, I'm interested in this backpack. I'm 5ft 4in tall and weight about 115lbs. This seems like the right size. Is it right for a small person like myself for a long hike (3-6 weeks carrying about 15 lbs)? Thanks,

Answer

Greetings from Utah. Thanks for your interest. I believe it will fit you. I'm 5'6", 120 lbs, & it fit me perfectly, plus the suspension has lots of room for adjustment. It truly is as described: superb condition & the most comfortable pack I've ever used for reasons explained in the ad. I'm selling only because I'm a guide & now on a pro program with a new pack manufacturer. I'm confident you'll like this pack & it will serve your needs. I can have it en route to you tomorrow (Monday).
