Good shoe, just an older model. The high amount of cushion in the Olympus didn't work for me, so I only ran about 70 miles in them. The tread is still in good shape. The cushion high above the heel on the left shoe is slightly pushed down. I typically run in a 7.5 and I found that this particular model ran a bit small.
Lightweight performance with reliable cushioning, the Altra Superior 3.0 is a zero drop trail running shoe built to handle loose and rocky terrain. With the success of past versions, the Superior 3.0 maintains several key features, while implementing small changes to the upper and outsole for increased stability and durability.
Continuing the use of an extra wide toe box and zero drop design, the Superior provides Altra's classic fit and feel for a more natural running experience. A sleek, lightweight design with plenty of protection from sharp rocks and debris, the Superior 3.0 is a great choice for rocky terrain, but is versatile enough to handle a variety of trails.
