Product Information

Selling my Scarpa Maestrale RS boots. These boots are sweet, and still work, but I just got the latest version, which is a bit lighter (and new and shiny), so I'm selling these. These still have quite a bit of life left. IMHO these are some of the best AT boots out there; they're light, have a great walk mode, but also ski really well.  These boots are fairly well used, and have maybe ~100 days on them. That being said, I take good care of my gear, and these boots work perfectly. They are in great shape for how much they have been used. They have scuffs and scratches, and a few of the buckle rivets are a bit loose, but everything works. The tongue hinges, which often break on these boots, are all intact. The walk mode on both boots works well, and the cuff pivots aren't worn out. The liners have been used for about the same amount of time, and have a few worn areas, but nothing on the inside (next to the foot), so they are still super comfy. They are thermoformable Intuition liners, and have only been molded once, so can be re-molded several more times.  These are size 27.5, bsl is 306mm. I've included pictures of some of the scuffs, and the worn areas on the bottom of the liners.  Here's the original description of these boots from Scarpa: Blurring the lines between freeride skiing and alpine touring, the Maestrale RS ski boot made switching from downhill to tour mode super easy with a new ski/walk mechanism. Range of motion is 37 degrees, impressive for a boot with a 120 flex index and a weight of 3 pounds, 7 ounces. Other features include a stouter power strap with a cut-out that makes adjustment a snap, and oversized buckles that are easy to use, even with gloves. Finer points include Scarpa's Axial Alpine tongue design, polyamide construction, which contributes to the stiff flex, Quick Step tech fittings and a stiff Intuition liner. These hard-charging boots are designed for backcountry skiers who like to drive big skis or seek out steep descents, but want no compromises on the up track either.
