Product Information

Nice K2 board and Burton bindings. I purchased the board and bindings used in Aspen Colorado and used them for a season and they were awesome. I am buying new gear and no longer need this board in my quiver. Hope it finds someone who is looking to save some money and still have a great board and reliable bindings. I put a fixed shipping rate on this because once I nearly lost all the money I got from selling a piece of gear cause the shipping estimate was so wrong. Let me know if your interested and we can work something out with the shipping that is fair.

Questions

Question

I live on the front range and am looking for a board for my husband. I will be up i-70 at the end of Oct and beginning of Nov

Answer

Hello, The board is currently in New York. I will be living in Aspen from October to March but I’m not sure if I will be bringing the board due to space. If you are set on purchasing this board and could meet me in Denver when I am rolling through I would consider bringing it with me. I also have some nice burton concord boots on size 10 and 10.5 that I would sell as a package. Thanks for your interest!

Question

Hi, I'm totally new to snowboarding and I was wondering if it was intermediate board and if it was mostly used for mountain terrain

Answer

Hey, I’m glad that you are getting interested into snowboarding. Intermediate boards are generally boards that are shorter because they are easier to turn. ( a longer board give more stability at higher speeds but for a new rider a shorter board will make it easier to turn but sacrifices stability at high speeds) The usual length for a board is right up to the bottom of your chin but for beginners I recommend slightly shorter than this. Take a measuring tape and find out your measurement in cm.

Question

Oh thanks for the info! I'm 6'1 and 170 pounds and my toes to my chin were 157cm I'm not sure if I should go shorter. Most charts showed me like 160 cm to 170cm. What do you think

Answer

No worries, happy 2 help. I’m 5’11” and i ride a 154 or a 160 depending on the day. For your first board I recommend a cheap 154 to help you learn to carve. If you want to continue the sport spend a little more money on a nicer board (160 would be perfect). If you have a shoe size 12 your going to need a wide board or your toes will hang over.

Question

Ok cool. I've gone snowboarding about 12 times and usually just ride trails or just race down the hill. Sorry I ment to say I'm new to buying a snowboard. I wear size 10 shoes but figured I should get size 11 just so I can fit a couple pairs of socks. What do you think

Answer

I wouldn’t do that. The boots will keep your feet warm. You actually want to wear a thin sock and have a very good fit for your boots. Too large a boot will actually make it harder to control. When you move you want direct contact with the foot to the boot and the boot to the binding so the board turns like a dime. I would definitely recommend a performance fit that feels tight but not painful. Hope this helps

Feel like I already answered this. Let me know if you need anything else.

Question

So would a size 10 or 10.5 boot fit fine in the bindings and on the board

Answer

Yea totally. That’s would be a medium sized binding. I have bingings with this board and also have some like new burton concord boots in 10 and 10.5 for sale. Where would you be shipping too. The shipping price for the board might be way to expensive tbh. I’d be happy to send to sell you a board the bindings and the boots for a good price but I have a feeling the shipping would be outrageous expensive.

Question

Oh cool. I'm in Washingtom State so it might be pretty expensive!

Answer

Yea for sure. Im going to recommend going to a store and trying on Boots with a pair of sock you want to use (only one pair) and talk with the ppl about them and how they should fit. The boot is the most important thing you are going to buy so get some nice ones that feel comfortable but snug. You don’t want your foot to move around inside them but should experience no pain. And buy a used board that doesn’t have core shots from a ski resort or a store that’s sells used gear.

Question

Ok thanks for your time! I really do appreciate it. I wish I was closer so it wasnt so expensive but thanks anyway.

Answer

No worries
